Salinas del Gualicho Trip

At the scheduled time, we will pick you up in Las Grutas before heading to Salinas del Gualicho: the second largest depression in Argentina.

Upon arrival at these salt deposits, located 236 feet below sea level, we will explore an area covering 166 square miles. We will learn about the 8000 uses of salt as we travel through the area.

Next, we will visit the industrial area where salt crystals are harvested and packed, and see the salt piles, which can accumulate up to 450,000 tons. A stunning sunset over the Salinas del Gualicho will follow, creating a memorable experience.

During sunset, we will serve a delicious Creole dinner outdoors, featuring chicken with vegetables, bread, wine, mineral water, coffee, and dessert. After dinner, we will have the opportunity to observe the stars with telescopes and other astronomical instruments.

Finally, we will return to Las Grutas, arriving between 10 pm and midnight, depending on the time of year.
