After meeting your guide in front of the Kashi Café in Varanasi in the early hours, you'll head to the riverside ghats, where holy purification rituals are performed.

As you watch the spectacular sunrise over the waters of the Ganges, you'll witness the Aarti ceremony, performed in honour of the river, known as the Goddess Ganga, revered in Hinduism.

Ganga Aarti is performed by seven Hindu priests, who light lamps and incense and chant hymns during the ritual.

You'll then board a boat for a one-hour tour of the river Ganges. Throughout this journey, you'll watch as the first rays of sunlight illuminate the city. Your guide will share fascinating facts about Varanasi and its spirituality.

The boat trip will conclude at Assi Ghat at 7 am.
