Itinerary
After meeting in the heart of Varanasi, you'll hop into tuk tuks and begin your adventure in the sacred city.
Over two hours, you'll be driven around the symbolic places in Varanasi, one of the holiest cities for Hinduism. See famous monuments including Saint Thomas' Church and Kashi Vishwanath, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas and known as the "golden temple" for its gold-plated domes.
You'll also see Jantar Mantar, one of five observatories built under Maharaja Jai Singh II. Next, you'll head to Dashashwamedh ghat, where you can experience the local life on the banks of the river Ganges.
Proceed to the chaotic centre of Varanasi, where you'll visit Baba Keenaram Ashram, a renowned Hindu meditation centre, followed by a drive over Ramnagar bridge for panoramic views of the city.
On the other side of the Ganges, you'll reach Ramnagar Fort, an important site with a 17th-century fortress built for the royal family, which is still used by the current Maharaja as a residence.
Finish your tour with a visit to the tomb of Lal Khan, a Mughal noble and stunning example of Mughal architecture, considered one of the gems of Varanasi. The tour ends at Ramnagar Fort.
