Tour of Baños de la Encina
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Tourist Office on José Luis Messía Avenue to start our guided tour of Baños de la Encina.
Our first stop will be the Muslim castle of Bury Al-Hamma (Burgalimar in Spanish) from the Caliphate period (10th century). We will explore its towers and enjoy views of the village from inside.
During the excursion, we will visit the church of San Mateo and the hermitage of Cristo del Llano, known for its distinctive figures and decorations, a notable example of Andalusian rococo baroque.
Then, we will walk through the historic centre of Baños de la Encina to admire well-preserved stately houses and ancient landmarks.
Finally, after 2 hours of touring, we will conclude the tour.
