Alejandro de Humboldt National Park Trip
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Baracoa before heading to the Alejandro de Humboldt National Park, recognized as World Heritage by UNESCO for its rich biodiversity in 2001.
Once in the park, we'll go to Taco Bay and follow the El Recreo trail on a moderate 2-mile (3 km) trek. During the tour, we will discover the region's fauna and flora and climb to a viewpoint for panoramas of the bay.
We will continue exploring the park surrounded by palm trees, Mayari pines, and orchids growing wild on the rocks. After the walk, you can take a refreshing dip in the waters of the Recreo River.
Before returning to Baracoa, you'll have free time on the beach of Maguana. You can recharge with a local lunch and enjoy the turquoise waters and fine sand. This is the perfect reward after the morning hike.
Finally, we return to Baracoa, bringing the tour to an end as we drop you back to your hotel after a total of 8 hours.
