Day Trip Details

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Barahona to start our day trip to the beach of Bahía de las Águilas and the impressive Oviedo Lagoon.

During the trip to La Cueva, we'll board a boat heading towards Bahía de las Águilas and enjoy views of this area in the Dominican Republic. About 15 minutes later, we'll arrive at Bahía de las Águilas, where you'll have approximately 3 hours of free time to swim in its recognized waters.

Our adventure continues at Oviedo Lagoon, located in Jaragua National Park. Onboard a motorboat, we'll travel through this saltwater nature reserve. You'll see numerous large birds such as herons and spoonbills, and we'll approach Flamingo Island to see the largest colony of flamingos in the country. Lunch will be provided at this location.

Finally, we'll conclude the experience back at your hotel in Barahona, 10 hours later.
