Tour Description

This ticket grants access to the KBr Fundación MAPFRE Barcelona Photo Center, which promotes creativity and cultural dynamism through photography, utilizing a handy audio guide in English. The center features two exhibition halls, a bookstore, an area for educational activities, and a multipurpose auditorium. The exhibition hall is located in the MAPFRE Tower, a notable modern building in the Port Olimpíc area.

The KBr Fundación MAPFRE Barcelona Photo Center also offers educational programs, training for new talents, conferences, workshops, international photographic awards, and other activities.

Opening Times

The center is open from Tuesday to Sunday:

April 1 - September 30: 11 am to 8 pmOctober 1 - March 31: 11 am to 7 pmDecember 24 and 31 and January 5: 11 am to 3 pm

You can select a specific time during booking but may visit at any time during opening hours on your visit day. Final admission is 30 minutes before closing time.

This exhibition features nearly 200 photographs divided into nine sections, showcasing Helen Levitt's documentation of urban life in 20th-century New York, focusing on the city's poorer neighborhoods.

KBr FLAMA'25 (from September 24, 2025 to February 1, 2026)

The fifth edition of the KBr FLAMA cycle displays the work of four young photographers: Bernat Erra, Irina Cervelló, Abril Coudougnan, and Patrick Martin, exploring memory construction with a critical perspective and reinforcing Fundación MAPFRE's support for emerging talent.
