Montserrat Day Trip + Cable Car

Throughout its history, the Abbey of Montserrat has attracted various visitors, including pilgrims and notable figures. Experience its allure on this trip from Barcelona, including a traditional lunch.

Day Trip Details

We will meet at Calle Roger de Llúria, 117 and depart from Barcelona to the monastic complex of Montserrat, a key site in the Catalan mountain range. The journey will take approximately 60 minutes.

The guided tour will begin with a cable car ride to the Royal Basilica of Montserrat. Following this, we will explore the Royal Basilica, a site of pilgrimage for many, including historical figures like Leonardo Da Vinci.

If available, we may experience a concert by the choir of Montserrat. You will then have an hour of free time to visit the local markets around the basilica.

Next, we will visit a typical Catalan farmhouse for lunch, featuring a salad, a choice of vegetarian or barbecue dish, and dessert.

After lunch, we will return to the starting point in Barcelona, concluding the trip around 7.5 hours after pickup.
