Montserrat Day Trip + Cable Car

Throughout its history, the Abbey of Montserrat has attracted various visitors, including pilgrims and Leonardo Da Vinci. Discover its significance on this trip from Barcelona, which includes a traditional lunch.

Day Trip Details

We'll meet at Calle Roger de Llúria, 117 and set off for the monastic complex of Montserrat, located about 60 minutes from Barcelona.

The tour begins with a cable car ride to the Royal Basilica of Montserrat, a site of historical significance where many, including pilgrims and Leonardo Da Vinci, have sought inspiration.

If available, a concert by the choir of Montserrat may be attended. Following this, there will be an hour of free time for exploring the local markets around the basilica.

The tour then proceeds to a typical Catalan farmhouse for lunch, featuring a salad, a vegetarian or barbecue option, and dessert.

After lunch, we will return to the starting point in Barcelona, approximately 7.5 hours after departure.
