Montserrat Day Trip + Cable Car

Throughout its history, the Abbey of Montserrat has attracted various visitors, including pilgrims and Leonardo Da Vinci. Discover its significance on this trip from Barcelona, including a traditional lunch.

Day Trip Details

We will meet at Calle Roger de Llúria, 117 and depart from Barcelona to the monastic complex of Montserrat, approximately a 60-minute journey.

The guided tour begins with a cable car ride to the Royal Basilica of Montserrat. Here, we will explore the basilica, a site that has drawn visitors from across Europe.

If available, we may attend a concert by the choir of Montserrat. You will also have an hour of free time to visit local markets around the basilica.

Following the tour, we'll travel to a typical Catalan farmhouse for lunch, featuring a salad, a vegetarian or barbecue dish, and a dessert.

After the meal, we will return to the starting point in Barcelona, concluding the trip about 7.5 hours after pickup.
