Montserrat Day Trip + Farmhouse Lunch

Throughout its history, the Abbey of Montserrat has attracted a diverse range of visitors, including pilgrims and historical figures. Experience its significance on this trip from Barcelona, including a traditional lunch.

Day Trip Details

We will meet at Carrer Martí i Franquès, 21 and depart for the monastic complex of Montserrat, located just a 60-minute journey from Barcelona.

The guided tour will commence with a visit to the Royal Basilica of Montserrat. Visitors, including the Renaissance genius Leonardo da Vinci, have sought out Montserrat over the centuries.

If available, we will attend a concert by the choir of Montserrat. Following this, there will be an hour of free time to explore the local markets around the basilica.

The trip will then proceed to a typical Catalan farmhouse for lunch, which includes a salad, a vegetarian or barbecue dish, and dessert.

After lunch, we will return to Barcelona, concluding the trip approximately 7.5 hours after pickup, with a drop-off at Avinguda Diagonal, 359.
