We'll pick you up at your hotel in Barcelona between 8 and 9 am to head north towards Besalú, a medieval village known for its Romanesque bridge. After crossing this bridge, we'll tour the historic center of Besalú, recognized as one of the most beautiful villages in Girona.
During our exploration of Besalú, we will see the Jewish miqvé, churches of San Pedro, Santa Maria and San Vicente, and the old pilgrims' hospital.
After this visit, we will board the minibus and stop at the La Garrotxa Volcanic Zone Natural Park for a hiking route through its beech, oak and holm oak forests, along with the volcanoes and lava flows of Catalonia.
Next, we proceed to Rupit, where you will have an hour of free time for lunch in one of its restaurants.
We will then visit Vic, exploring its historic center, including Plaza Mayor, Casa Beuló, and Casa Tolosa.
Before returning to Barcelona, we will stop at the Palau dels Montcada, ruins of an ancient Roman temple from the 2nd century.
