On this private tour, we will explore the city of Bari, the capital of Apulia, and visit Polignano a Mare with its famous cliffs.

At the appointed time, we will meet at Piazza Federico II di Svevia to start our tour of Bari. We will discover why the capital of Apulia captivates its visitors.

Bari is known for preserving the relics of St. Nicholas of Myra. After a brief introduction, we will walk to the 12th-century Basilica of St. Nicholas, where we will share interesting facts. Our walk continues to the Bari Cathedral, also known as the Cathedral of Saint Sabinus, a notable example of Romanesque architecture. Following this, we will visit the 12th-century Castello Svevo, built by Roger the Norman, and conclude our tour of Bari at Piazza Mercantile, home to the Column of Justice.

After exploring Bari, we will drive to Polignano a Mare. There, we will visit the historic center of this village, known for its ancient mansions, small squares, and winding streets. We will take in views of the Adriatic Sea from the cliffs and visit the statue of singer Domenico Modugno for a photo opportunity.

After five hours, we will return to the starting point in Bari.
