Bari & Polignano a Mare Private Tour

On this private tour, we will explore the city of Bari, the capital of Apulia, and visit the town of Polignano a Mare and its cliffs. We will meet at Piazza Federico II di Svevia to start the tour of Bari.

Bari is known for preserving the relics of St. Nicholas of Myra. After an introduction, we will visit the 12th-century Basilica of St. Nicholas and share interesting facts about it.

Next, we will proceed to the Bari Cathedral, also known as the Cathedral of Saint Sabinus, a notable example of Romanesque architecture. We will then visit the Castello Svevo, built in the 12th century by Roger the Norman. The tour of Bari will conclude at Piazza Mercantile and the Column of Justice, where we will discuss its significance.

After exploring Bari, we will travel to Polignano a Mare. In this historic center, we will see ancient mansions, small squares, and winding streets.

We will enjoy views of the Adriatic Sea from the cliffs and visit the statue of singer Domenico Modugno, providing an opportunity for a souvenir photo.

After five hours, we will return to the starting point in Bari.
