Barichara Guided Tour

Our guided tour of Barichara includes key locations such as the Cathedral, Salto del Mico, Santa Barbara church, and traditional streets, focusing on the town's historic district.

Description

We will meet at the main park in Barichara for the walking tour, exploring iconic spots. The tour starts with a stroll along Calle Real and a visit to a traditional sweets shop, followed by the Santa Barbara church, the town's first chapel.

Next, we will head to the higher part of Barichara to enjoy a panoramic view of the historic center, including the Cathedral from the 18th century. The itinerary includes exploring Barichara's cemetery known for its unique tomb designs and an art workshop featuring an ancient artistic technique.

We will also visit the Salto del Mico viewpoint, and on our way back to the main park, we will pause for coffee and visit two craft stores to appreciate local art.

The tour lasts two-and-a-half hours and concludes at the starting point.
