Description

You can choose between any of the options below when making your reservation. Each has a meeting point at Barichara Main Park and includes pickup and drop–off from the meeting point to the workshop location.

Painting workshop (2 hours)

This workshop offers an earth painting experience, using natural pigments found in nature. You will learn various techniques and create your own painting to take home. No prior experience is needed. The workshop lasts 2 hours, with an additional 10 minutes for transfers.

Basketweaving workshop (2.5 hours)

In this workshop, you will explore traditional basketweaving using Pedro Alejo Vine. You will learn about its properties and craft a piece to take home. The experience includes stories about Barichara's ancient inhabitants. It lasts 2 hours, with 40 minutes for transfers.

Ceramic workshop (3 hours)

This option focuses on basic pottery techniques, using the Guane technique of local indigenous people. You will familiarize yourself with tools and prepare clay to create an object. Note that you cannot take your creation home because it needs to dry for a day; however, a pre-made piece will be gifted to you. The workshop lasts 2 hours, with an additional hour for transfers.
