Description

You can choose between any of the options below when making your reservation. Each has a meeting point at Barichara Main Park and includes pickup and drop–off from the meeting point to the workshop location.

Painting workshop (2 hours)

This workshop includes an earth painting experience using natural pigments. You will learn various techniques and create a painting to take home. No prior experience is necessary, and we will provide tips to enhance your skills. The duration is 2 hours, with an additional 10 minutes for transfers.

Basketweaving workshop (2.5 hours)

In this session, you'll learn about traditional basketweaving with Pedro Alejo Vine. You will become familiar with its properties and make a basket. Insights into the lives of Barichara's ancient inhabitants will also be shared. The workshop lasts 2 hours, with 40 minutes allocated for transfer time.

Ceramic workshop (3 hours)

This option covers basic pottery techniques based on the Guane technique. You will learn to prepare clay and create an object, though you won't take your creation home as it needs to dry for a day. Instead, a pre-made piece will be provided as a gift. The workshop lasts 2 hours, with an additional hour for transfers.
