Bella Vista Mountain Trek
We will collect you from your accommodation at the indicated time and head to the Nahuel Huapi National Park, covering almost 2 million acres in the provinces of Neuquen and Rio Negro.
Upon arrival at the park, we will park at Tambo Baez, the furthest accessible point for vehicles. From there, we will begin our hike to the Bella Vista mountain.
This four and a half hour trek spans 8 km (5 mi) through one of Argentina's significant natural wilderness areas. You will stroll through a forest of coihue trees, native to southern Chile and Argentina, and witness the landscape transition into a high alpine environment.
The summit of Bella Vista mountain reaches 1,645 m (5,400 feet), offering a panoramic view of Cathedral, Goye, Tres Reyes, and Tronador peaks. We will pause to admire the Nahuel Huapi and Moreno lakes, enjoying a sandwich, piece of fruit, and cereal bar.
The trip concludes back in Bariloche after approximately 8 hours.
