Bella Vista Mountain Trek

No visit to Bariloche would be complete without discovering the Nahuel Huapi National Park and a hike to the summit of Bella Vista mountain. This four and a half hour route offers views of the Bosque Andino Patagónico forest, suitable for adventurers.

Bella Vista Mountain Trek

We will collect you from your accommodation at the scheduled time and proceed to Nahuel Huapi National Park, a natural wilderness area spanning almost 2 million acres in the provinces of Neuquen and Rio Negro.

Upon arrival, we will park at Tambo Baez, the furthest vehicle-accessible point. We will then embark on foot along a track leading to Bella Vista mountain.

For four and a half hours, we will explore one of Argentina's key natural wildernesses. The route is 8 km (5 mi) long, ascending to a height of 1,645 m (5,400 feet) to reach the summit of Bella Vista. Here, a panoramic view of the Cathedral, Goye, Tres Reyes, and Tronador peaks awaits. A break will be taken to admire Nahuel Huapi and Moreno lakes and enjoy a sandwich, a piece of fruit, and a cereal bar.

The trip concludes back in Bariloche after 8 hours.
