Day Trip to Cerro Cathedral

We'll leave San Carlos de Bariloche at the indicated time and head towards Villa Cathedral. The approximately 40-minute journey includes a guide explaining the activities available in this mountainous area of Argentina. You will have four hours of free time to explore Villa Cathedral, located at the foot of the famous Cerro Cathedral, which stands at 7670 feet (2338 metres) above sea level.

Cerro Cathedral is situated in Nahuel Huapi National Park and is regarded as the greatest ski centre in the southern hemisphere. You can take the chairlift (ticket not included) to the summit for views of the mountain tops and Lake Gutiérrez, as well as Cerro Tronador and the Chilean Puntiagudo Volcano. The area allows for skiing, snowboarding, hiking, and mountain biking.

Afterwards, we will meet in Villa Catedral to return to San Carlos de Bariloche, arriving 4 hours later.

Hotel Pickup

This activity includes a pickup service from hotels in the centre of Bariloche. If your accommodation is elsewhere, you must make your own way to the meeting point at the scheduled time.

Cerro Cathedral Chairlift

The Cerro Catedral chairlift ride is optional and is not included in the day trip price. The chairlift may not always be operational due to weather or other circumstances.
