Day Trip to Cerro Cathedral

We'll leave San Carlos de Bariloche at the indicated time and head towards Villa Cathedral. During the 40-minute journey, the guide will explain activities available in the area. You'll have four hours of free time to explore Villa Cathedral, located at the foot of Cerro Cathedral, which stands 7670 feet (2338 metres) above sea level.

Cerro Cathedral, within the Nahuel Huapi National Park, is renowned as the largest ski centre in the southern hemisphere. You can take the chair lift (ticket not included) to enjoy views of the mountains and Lake Gutiérrez. From the summit, you can also see Cerro Tronador and the Chilean Puntiagudo Volcano.

If you enjoy mountain sports and activities, you can ski or snowboard on the pistes, or opt for hiking and mountain biking in this natural environment.

We will reconvene in Villa Catedral for our return to San Carlos de Bariloche, arriving approximately 4 hours later.

Hotel Pickup

This activity includes a pickup service from hotels in the centre of Bariloche. If your accommodation is outside this area, you must make your own way to the meeting point at the scheduled time.

Cerro Cathedral Chairlift

The Cerro Catedral chairlift ride is optional, and the entrance fee is not included in the trip price. Note that the chairlift may not always operate due to weather or other circumstances.
