Manso River Chilean Border Rafting

Explore the border landscapes between Argentina and Chile on a rafting experience on the Manso River, with an optional horseback riding activity in the woods.

Tour Options

During the booking process, choose from the following options. Both include hotel pickup and drop-off, a Spanish or Portuguese-speaking guide, necessary equipment, breakfast, and lunch.

Manso River Rafting (10 Hours)

At the indicated time, pickup will be at your hotel in Bariloche, and then we will head south towards El Bolsón. We will travel into the Manso Valley to the Patagonia Campestre complex, where breakfast with tortas fritas and beverages will be provided. Rafting equipment will be distributed, followed by a brief technical talk on safety rules.

Rafting will commence on the Manso River, navigating medium-level rapids and waterfalls in the border area. A stop at the Chilean border will allow time for scenic views of the Patagonia Mountains and photography before returning to the camp for a milanesa meal.

Manso River Rafting + Horseback Riding (11 Hours)

This option includes the same itinerary as the previous one, with an added 1-hour horseback ride after lunch. Participants will ride through lenga forests, small streams, and along the river shore while learning about local fauna and flora.

Hotel Pickup

This tour includes pickup from hotels within an 8-kilometer (4.9 miles) radius of Avenida Bustillo. Accommodations further away will require arranging a meeting point post-booking.
