If you've already got an official scuba diving qualification, our scuba diving activity in Moreno Lake is perfect for you! We'll explore the bottom of a once glacial lagoon in the Argentinean province of Río Negro.

Moreno Lake Scuba Diving Activity

At your chosen time, we'll start our scuba diving activity for certified divers on the shores of Moreno Lake, next to the Circuito Chico bridge. After we've got our wetsuits, tanks, goggles, flippers and other equipment ready, we'll dive into the waters of Moreno Lake. This glacial lake, located in the Circuito Chico de Bariloche, is one of the main diving locations in the Argentinean province of Río Negro.

The lake and its surroundings have more than 20 dive sites, so we'll choose the one that best suits our group. While we're underwater, we'll admire a unique lake ecosystem that includes fish such as trout and perch and identify various aquatic plants in this biodiverse area. We will capture several underwater photographs during the dive to document the landscapes, allowing us to appreciate the native flora and fauna.

It'll then be time to finish our 2-hour activity by leaving the diving equipment at the meeting point.

Obligatory certification

To participate in this diving activity in Moreno Lake, you need to hold a PADI Open Water Diver, One Star Diver, PADI Rescue Diver or similar certification. On the day of the dive, you'll need to present a valid document to verify this certification.
