San Martín de los Andes & Seven Lakes Day Trip

Tour the region of the 7 glacial lakes (Siete Lagos) in Patagonia on a route to San Martín de Los Andes, a mountain-side city by Lake Lácar.

Day Trip Details

After meeting at the designated time, we will cross the coast of Nahuel Huapi Lake, leaving Bariloche towards Villa La Angostura, known for its forest environment. We will begin our tour of the Seven Lakes of Patagonia.

The first lake is Correntoso Lake, followed by Espejo Lake and Bailey Willis Lagoon. Our route includes crossing bridges over the Ruca Malén stream and Pichi Traful River, leading to the 'Hidden Lake', where a viewpoint offers scenic photo opportunities.

The tour continues through a wooded area with Villarino and Falkner lakes, then visits the famous Vuliñanco waterfall. We proceed to Machónico and Lácar lakes, where you will have two hours in San Martín de Los Andes to have lunch and explore the local artisanal stalls before returning to your hotel in Bariloche, arriving around 7 pm.
