At the appointed time we'll meet in front of La Casa del Carnaval to start this free tour of Barranquilla. Off we go to experience life in one of the most important cities in Colombia!

We'll begin by walking through Barrio Abajo, the epicenter of Barranquilla's popular culture, observing typical colorful houses and discussing the significance of the Carnival, recognized as part of the Intangible Heritage of Humanity.

During the tour, we'll admire the façades of various churches, including the Temple of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Queen Mary Cathedral. Other stops include the Edgard Rentería baseball stadium and the Customs House, as well as the lives of notable figures like Gabriel García Márquez, Joe Arroyo, and Shakira.

Additionally, we will have opportunities to engage with local artisans, plastic artists, dancers, cooks, and historians, enriching our experience.

After an hour and a half of sightseeing, we will conclude the free tour of Barranquilla in Plaza de la Paz or a central area of the city.
