At the appointed time, we'll meet in front of La Casa del Carnaval to start this free tour of Barranquilla. We'll begin by walking through Barrio Abajo, the center of Barranquilla's popular culture. We will explore typical colorful houses and discuss the city's Carnival, which is recognized as an Intangible Heritage of Humanity.

During the free tour, we will admire the façades of various churches, including the Temple of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Queen Mary Cathedral. We will also see the Edgard Rentería baseball stadium and the Customs House, while discussing notable figures such as Gabriel García Márquez, Joe Arroyo, and Shakira.

At select stops, there will be opportunities to meet local artisans, plastic artists, dancers, cooks, and historians, enriching our experience. The tour will conclude after an hour and a half at Plaza de la Paz or a central area of the city.
