At 9 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Barranquilla and set off northbound. After 30 minutes on the road, we'll arrive at the mouth of the Magdalena River (Rio Grande de la Magdalena).

Upon arrival, we'll board a tourist train for a 7.5-mile (12-kilometre) ride through the landscapes of Bocas de Ceniza, known for where the river meets the Caribbean Sea.

After the train ride, we'll walk to the point where we can observe the mouth of the river and witness how the waters from the sea and the river blend together.

Additionally, we'll view the significant infrastructure built in 1936 to channel the waters of the longest riverbed in Colombia.

We will then return to Barranquilla in our bus and drop you off at your hotel at around 1 pm.
