Ciénaga Grande de Santa Marta Day Trip

We will pick you up from your hotel in Barranquilla at 5:30 am and set off for the western part of the Ciénaga Grande de Santa Marta.

During the visit, we will explore the mouth of the Sevilla River and observe the exotic birds native to the Magdalena region, including the largest community of cormorants in Colombia. We may also spot the Northern screamer, an endangered species integral to the local ecosystem. Participants will appreciate the unique mangrove landscape and the river estuary.

After enjoying a traditional meal, we will return to Barranquilla, with an expected arrival back at your hotel by 3:30 pm.
