Pickup from your hotel in Barranquilla is at 4:30 am, followed by a minibus journey to the Islas del Rosario dock. A speedboat will take us through the Cienaga de Santa Marta marsh, a World Biosphere Reserve. Prepare to discover stunning landscapes.

During the boat trip, observe the diverse flora and fauna of the Cienaga. This natural area features paths, dense vegetation, and lakes bordered by the palafitte towns. These fishing villages maintain a unique lifestyle that has persisted for centuries.

A stop will be made in one village to learn about the community and its customs. Interactions with locals will include tasting a traditional meal of fish or vegetables. This culinary experience amidst nature will be memorable.

We will return to the minibus and depart for Barranquilla, aiming to arrive by 3:30 pm.
