Let yourself be seduced by the history and artistic heritage of one of the oldest cities in South America with this excursion to Santa Marta from Barranquilla.

Santa Marta Excursion

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Barranquilla at 8 am and head east by minibus to Santa Marta, one of the oldest cities in the Americas.

After about two hours of driving, we'll embark on a panoramic tour to explore its historic streets. During the tour, we will enter the famous hacienda, Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino, and admire the “El Pibe” Valderrama Monument, learning about this famous soccer player.

Following this, we'll stop at the Taganga viewpoint for views of the port of Santa Marta and its bay. We will then tour the old town discussing its history and customs.

At the end of the tour, we will return to the minibus and head back to your hotel in Barranquilla, arriving at 3 pm.

At the time of booking, you can choose the option that includes lunch. In this case, we will pick you up at your hotel at 6 am, and after visiting the historic center of Santa Marta, we'll enjoy a typical meal at a local restaurant featuring cojinoa fish, coconut rice, patacones, and salad.
