Santa Marta Excursion

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Barranquilla at 8 am and head east by minibus to Santa Marta, one of the oldest cities in the Americas.

After about two hours of driving, we'll go on a panoramic tour to explore its historic streets. We will enter the hacienda, Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino, and admire the “El Pibe” Valderrama Monument. The tour will provide insights into the significance of this renowned soccer player.

Following that, we'll stop at the Taganga viewpoint for views of the port of Santa Marta and its bay. We will further explore the old town, discussing its history and customs.

At the end of the tour, we will return to the minibus and head back to your hotel in Barranquilla, arriving at 3 pm.

At the time of booking, you can choose the option that includes lunch. In this case, we'll pick you up at your hotel at 6 am. After visiting the historic center of Santa Marta, we will enjoy a typical meal at a local restaurant, featuring cojinoa fish, coconut rice, patacones, and salad.
