Arroyo Turquesa Trip

Pickup is at 10 am from your hotel in Barreal, followed by a 4x4 jeep ride to the Laguna Blanca shelter, about 50 miles away.

At the lake, located at 10,100 ft, a 5-mile trek through the Andes begins. We will take several 15-minute breaks for rest during the walk.

A stop will be made at the Guanaquitos Post at over 11,000 feet to sample some local products. After lunch, we will continue towards the Arroyo Turquesa natural reserve, situated at almost 13,500 feet in the Andean peaks.

Upon reaching the destination, explanations about the intense color of the stream will be provided while we enjoy the surroundings and take photos. We will also observe principal species of local Andean flora and fauna.

After the stream visit, we will return to the starting point on foot and then board the jeep for the return journey to Barreal, appreciating more scenic Andean landscapes along the way.

After a short snack break, we will return you to your hotel, concluding this private tour around midnight.
