At 10 am, we will leave from your hotel in Barreal in an all-terrain jeep, heading southwest towards the Andean landscapes that act as a natural border between Argentina and Chile.

We will pass through the "Junta de Los Ríos", where several river courses converge at the foot of the Andes. In this area, we may encounter Andean llamas that inhabit both sides of the Chilean-Argentinean border.

Our trip continues at the base of Cerro Mercedario, a mountain that rises over 21,000 feet high. From there, we will wade across rivers and follow old mining roads in the jeep, arriving at Laguna Blanca lake, where we can relax on the shores while enjoying the surroundings.

We will then have a picada de campo, the typical Argentine picnic lunch. After, we will continue exploring other areas of the Andes foothills, enjoying panoramas of the vast lands.

After a mid-afternoon break for a light snack, at 6 pm we will drop you off at your hotel in Barreal.
