Sunset at Lençóis Maranhenses Sand Dunes

Want to enjoy a unique sunset? On this tour, we'll leave Atins in an offroading vehicle to explore the sand dunes in Lençóis Maranhenses National Park in the evening.

Activity Details

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Atins at the scheduled time and board an offroading vehicle for the sunset tour of the Lençóis Maranhenses sand dunes. It will take approximately 30 minutes to arrive at these dunes, located in the region of Ponta do Mangue, on the outskirts of Atins. This national park encompasses more than 90,000 hectares of sand dunes.

Depending on the season, we may take a break to swim in 2 or 3 of the lakes, such as Tropical Lake, Esmeralda Lake, or Poço Verde. Remember to bring your swimming essentials!

As the sun approaches the horizon, we will pause to admire the sunset from the top of one of the dunes in Lençóis Maranhenses. You will have time to take photos and enjoy the vibrant colors of the sky.

Finally, we'll return to your hotel in Atins.
