Sunset at Lençóis Maranhenses Sand Dunes

Want to enjoy a unique sunset? On this tour, we'll leave Atins in an offroading vehicle and explore the sand dunes in Lençóis Maranhenses National Park in the evening.

Activity Details

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Atins and board an offroading vehicle for a sunset tour of the Lençóis Maranhenses sand dunes. The trip to the dunes takes approximately 30 minutes and they are located in the region of Ponta do Mangue, on the outskirts of Atins, which covers more than 90000 hectares of sand dunes.

During the tour, depending on the season, we'll take a break to swim in 2 or 3 lakes, such as Tropical Lake, Esmeralda Lake, or Poço Verde. Don’t forget your swimming items!

When the sun is about to set, we'll pause to admire the sunset from the top of one of the dunes in Lençóis Maranhenses. Here, you'll have time to take photos and enjoy the orange tones in the sky.

Finally, we'll return to your hotel in Atins.
