Bath Guided Tour
At the indicated time we'll meet in front of the entrance to Bath Abbey, where we can contemplate its structure and stained glass windows. Its façade and location by the River Avon make this Gothic temple the city's most iconic landmark.
Afterwards, we'll see the Bath Assembly Rooms, built in the Georgian style, where society met, frequented by Jane Austen and Charles Dickens. We'll continue to the Roman Baths, visiting the exterior and learning about the historic bath complex founded in 70 AD during the time of Emperor Vespasian.
In the oldest part of the city, we'll understand its UNESCO World Heritage Site status. We'll pass by the Theatre Royal and move on to Queen's Square, an important architectural element of Bath.
In the final part, we'll approach the Royal Crescent, a residential complex of thirty terraced houses, representing the most important example of Georgian architecture in the UK. After admiring the Crescent, we'll cross the Pulney Bridge and walk along the riverbank of the River Avon.
We'll conclude our tour after two hours of exploring the history and culture of this city.
