Come and discover the charms of Bath, a city declared a World Heritage Site for its historical and artistic heritage. On this guided tour you'll see its Roman baths, the majestic Abbey and the Royal Crescent.
Bath Guided Tour
At the indicated time we'll meet in front of the entrance to Bath Abbey, where we can contemplate its structure and stained glass windows. Its façade and location by the River Avon make it the city's most iconic landmark.
Afterwards, we'll visit the Bath Assembly Rooms, built in the Georgian style, frequented by historical figures like Jane Austen and Charles Dickens. We will then proceed to the Roman Baths, exploring the exterior and the history of this complex established during Emperor Vespasian's time in 70 AD.
Continuing to the oldest part of the city, we will learn why it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will pass the Theatre Royal and move to Queen's Square, an important architectural element of Bath.
The tour will conclude at the Royal Crescent, featuring thirty terraced houses in a crescent shape, exemplifying Georgian architecture and protected as a notable structure. We will then cross the Georgian-style Pulney Bridge and walk along the River Avon.
The tour lasts two hours, focusing on the history and culture of Bath.
