On this tour to Lucena and the cliffs of Bonsucesso, we will explore the natural and heritage highlights of the Paraíba coast.

We will pick you up from your hotel in João Pessoa at 7 am and drive along the Paraíba coast to Lucena.

Upon arrival in Lucena, we will visit the watchtower of Forte Velho and the 16th-century basilica Nossa Senhora da Guia, notable for its tropical baroque style.

Next, we will travel to Coqueiral, characterized by its coconut trees by the Atlantic, followed by a visit to the ruins of the church of Bonsucesso, associated with the Carmelite Order. The site features limestone and sandstone walls intertwined with nature.

After this, we will head to the viewpoint of the Bonsucesso cliffs for panoramic views of Lucena and the delta of the river Camacari.

We will then proceed to the beach of Pontinha, allowing time for swimming and lunch. Afterwards, we will walk along part of the inlet to the Miriri River.

Following this, we will visit local artisans creating coconut fibre crafts and sweets, providing insights into regional culture and traditions.

Finally, we will return to João Pessoa, arriving at your hotel by 5:30 pm.
