On this tour to Lucena and the cliffs of Bonsucesso, we will explore the natural and heritage sites of the Paraíba coast.

Lucena & Bonsucesso Cliffs Tour

Pickup from your hotel in João Pessoa is scheduled for 7 am, followed by a drive along the Paraíba coast to Lucena.

In Lucena, we will visit the watchtower of Forte Velho and the 16th-century church of Nossa Senhora da Guia, noted for its tropical baroque style.

Next, we proceed to Coqueiral, a region characterized by coconut trees along the Atlantic. Here, we will walk to the ruins of the church of Bonsucesso, associated with the Carmelite Order, where nature has blended with the structure's limestone and sandstone, and a large gameleira tree is present.

We will then head to the viewpoint of the Bonsucesso cliffs for panoramic views of Lucena and the delta of the river Camacari.

Afterwards, we will visit the beach of Pontinha for swimming and lunch. We will then walk along part of the inlet to the Miriri River.

We will also meet local artisans producing items with coconut fibers and coconut sweets, learning about the region's culture and traditions.

The tour concludes with our return to João Pessoa, arriving at your hotel by 5:30 pm.
