Day Trip Details
We'll meet at Place Québec in Bayeux at the specified time to depart for Normandy.
After a 90-minute drive, you'll reach Mont-Saint-Michel, the second most visited place in France after Paris, located at the mouth of the Couesnon River near the Normandy-Brittany border.
The tour will commence with a visit to the Mont-Saint-Michel Abbey, dedicated to St Michael. You'll see the Romanesque architecture of the abbey church and the Marvelle, where monks resided.
During the tour of the cloister, refectory, and other sections, we will share some secrets and legends of Mont-Saint-Michel, some of which have inspired literature and film. The abbey is also associated with various mysteries that will be explained during your visit.
You will have 1 hour of free time to lunch and explore the narrow streets of the village at the foot of the abbey. It is recommended to climb to the viewpoints for panoramic views of the bay.
We will regroup for the return to Bayeux, with a total duration of 8 hours.
