Visit one of the symbolic jewels of Normandy with this day trip to Mont-Saint-Michel. Immerse yourself in its legendary history full of centuries-old secrets with this day trip from Bayeux.

Day Trip Details

At the indicated time, we'll meet at Place Québec in Bayeux to depart by minibus for the south of Normandy. After a 90-minute drive, you'll arrive at Mont-Saint-Michel, the second most visited place in France after Paris, an island-rock located at the mouth of the Couesnon River, near the border between Normandy and Brittany.

The tour will start with a visit to the Mont-Saint-Michel Abbey, dedicated to the archangel St Michael, where you can admire the Romanesque architecture of the abbey church and the Marvelle, the area where the monks lived. During the tour of the cloister, the refectory, and other parts of the monument, we will discuss the secrets and legends of Mont-Saint-Michel.

You will have 1 hour of free time to have lunch and explore the narrow streets of the village at the foot of the abbey. We recommend climbing to the viewpoints for panoramic views of the bay of Mont-Saint-Michel.

Finally, we will meet again to return to Bayeux, arriving after a total of 8 hours.
