Visit one of the symbolic jewels of Normandy with this day trip to Mont-Saint-Michel. Immerse yourself in its legendary history with this day trip from Bayeux.

Day Trip Details

Meet at Place Québec in Bayeux at the scheduled time for departure to Normandy. After a 90-minute drive, you will arrive at Mont-Saint-Michel, the second most visited place in France after Paris. It is an island-rock located at the mouth of the Couesnon River, near the border between Normandy and Brittany.

The tour begins with a visit to the Mont-Saint-Michel Abbey. The abbey, dedicated to the archangel St Michael, features Romanesque architecture. During the tour of the cloister, refectory, and other areas, the secrets and legends of Mont-Saint-Michel will be revealed, many of which have been depicted in films and literature.

You will have 1 hour of free time to have lunch and explore the narrow streets of the village at the foot of the abbey. It is recommended to visit the viewpoints for panoramic views of the bay.

After the visit, return to Bayeux, completing a total duration of 8 hours.
