Normandy Landings Motorcycle + Sidecar Tour
June 6th, 1944, known as D-Day, marks a significant event in World War II with the Normandy Landings. This tour will commence from Bayeux using a motorcycle and sidecar.
Our experienced guide will operate the motorcycle, which accommodates one passenger behind them and another in the sidecar. The tour begins with a stop at Arromanches to view part of Port Mulberry and other artificial ports. Next, we will proceed to Longues-sur-Mer, a small town with a former defense arsenal and coastal views.
The tour continues to the village of Port-en-Basin, followed by a visit to Omaha Beach, one of the primary landing sites on D-Day. Here, visitors can experience the historical significance of the location. Adjacent to Omaha Beach is the American Cemetery of Normandy, where we will pay our respects to those who lost their lives during this pivotal day and throughout World War II. The final stop will be at the Point du Hoc cliff.
We will return to Bayeux approximately 3.5 hours after departure, concluding the tour.
