Normandy Landings Motorcycle + Sidecar Tour
June 6th, 1944, known as D-Day, marks the day of the Normandy Landings during World War II. Starting from Bayeux, the tour uses a motorcycle and sidecar for an in-depth exploration of this historic site.
An experienced guide will drive the motorcycle with passengers in a 2-seater configuration, accommodating one passenger behind the guide and another in the sidecar. The tour begins at Arromanches to view part of Port Mulberry and other artificial ports. Next, the route proceeds to Longues-sur-Mer, known for its former defense arsenal and scenic views.
The journey continues to the village of Port-en-Basin before arriving at Omaha Beach, a key landing site on D-Day, offering significant historical insights. Adjacent to Omaha Beach is the American Cemetery of Normandy, where guests honor those who lost their lives during the war. The final stop is at the Point du Hoc cliff.
The tour concludes with a return to Bayeux after 3.5 hours.
