On this day trip to Campina Grande, you'll celebrate San Juan, an important festival in northern Brazil at Povo Park.

Day Trip Details

At the designated time, pickup will be from your hotel in João Pessoa for the journey to Campina Grande, the site of the largest San Juan celebrations in the northeast of Brazil.

After a 1.5-hour trip, we will arrive at Povo Park, where a themed bus awaits to take us to the festival area. A guide dressed as a traditional festival character, the matuto, will share anecdotes about local culture during the ride.

On the bus, experience the traditional forró pé de serra, featuring accordion, zabumba, and triangle music. Learn about typical songs, facts, and traditions from the northeast!

You will also sample popular cachacinhas de Paraíba, along with festive snacks like popcorn and canjica.

Upon arrival, enjoy 5 hours of free time to partake in the festivities, dancing, and quadrilhas juninas shows. Explore the changing themed areas of the festival each year.

After the event, we will return you to your hotel in João Pessoa, concluding the trip 8 hours after pickup.
