Villa Kerylos Ticket
The renowned French archaeologist Théodore Reinach, enamored with Greek culture, built the Villa Kerylos in Beaulieu-sur-Mer to pay homage to Classical Greece. The villa reflects the art and architecture of ancient Greece, featuring a replica of traditional Greek residences with a porter's lodge, central patio, triklinion dining room, and library.
The villa also hosts a gallery of antiques, presenting life-size sculptures based on classic Greek art, including the Apollo Belvedere and the Venus de Milo, integrated into the house's architectural style. Notable areas include the Andron, reserved for men, and the Oikos, for family gatherings. Reinach's bedroom, inspired by Erotes, features a bed modeled after one from the Archaeological Museum of Naples.
