Villa Kerylos Ticket
The renowned French archaeologist Théodore Reinach was deeply invested in Greek culture. His extensive travels and excavation efforts in Greece inspired him to create a homage to Classical Greece in his retirement home located in Beaulieu-sur-Mer. Thus, the Villa Kerylos was established, featuring furniture and designs influenced by Ancient Greek art.
The ticket grants access to this majestic house on the Mediterranean coast, replicating ancient Greek residences with structures like a porter's lodge, a central patio, a triklinion dining room, and a library. Additionally, the villa hosts a gallery of antiques, featuring life-size sculptures modeled after classic Greek art, such as the Apollo Belvedere and the Venus de Milo, which complement the villa's design.
Notable areas include the Andron, reserved for men, the family gathering space Oikos, and Reinach's bedroom, inspired by Erotes.
