Embark on a captivating journey from Beaune, where you'll unravel the hidden treasures of Burgundy's wine culture. Explore different vineyards and wineries scattered throughout this renowned region.

Description

Our journey begins at the designated time right in front of the Beaune Tourist Office. The first stop is a Burgundy winery located in the city. Participants will enjoy a tasting of three notable white wines: Saint-Aubin, Meursault, and Corton-Charlemagne.

After the tasting, an hour of free time is provided for lunch in Beaune's old town. Following lunch, a minibus tour through the Grands Crus wine route in Burgundy will commence.

This journey includes visits to picturesque villages such as Nuits-Saint-Georges and Vosne-Romanée, and a pass by the renowned vineyards of the Clos Vougeot Château. Participants will learn about its historic cellars, which date back to the 11th century, and the castle's significance as a meeting place for the Brotherhood of the Knights of Tastevin.

The tour continues to the village of Nuits-Saint-Georges, where another traditional Burgundy winery visit will take place. This will provide insight into age-old viticulture techniques and the chance to taste Burgundy wines.

Free time will be allocated for a local meal before returning to Beaune. The full duration of the journey is 8 hours, concluding at the Tourist Office.
