Whale Watching by Sailboat
Participants will meet at the scheduled time in Húsavík Harbour and board an elegant schooner for a cruise around the bay of Skjálfandi. Experience the beauty of sailing while learning about the operational aspects of the vessel.
Throughout the trip, guests can admire the Icelandic coast while watching for the appearance of whales. Those onboard may have the chance to hear their calls and view them spouting water from their blow holes. Information about these marine mammals will be provided during the trip.
As the cruise continues, participants may also spot seabirds and, potentially, dolphins. To enhance the experience, complimentary hot chocolate and a cinnamon roll will be served.
The tour lasts for 3 hours and concludes at the original departure point in Húsavík.
