8-Day Tour of Lebanon

On this 8-day tour of the best of Lebanon, we'll travel to the most important cities in the country, such as Tripoli, Sidon and Harissa, and we'll lodge in Beirut.

Description

Day 1: Beirut

Upon arrival at the airport in Beirut, transfer to the hotel in the city.

Day 2: Tyre - Sidon

After breakfast, the tour will start with a visit to Tyre to explore its Roman, Phoenician, Greek and Byzantine ruins. In the evening, travel to Sidon, visit the castle, old town, and souk, then return to the hotel in Beirut.

Day 3: Byblos - Tripoli

Visit Byblos to see its Phoenician walls, Roman theatre, and Crusader Castle. In the evening, go to Tripoli, visit the citadel and temples, and explore the souks. Return to Beirut.

Day 4: Anjar - Baalbeck

Travel to the Bekaa Valley to visit Anjar and its Umayyad ruins, followed by a visit to Baalbeck to explore the Roman ruins. Visit Ksara Winery for a wine tasting before returning to Beirut for dinner.

Day 5: Deir Kamal - Beit Ed Dine

Visit the Chouf Region to see Deir Kamal and its historic mosque, then head to Beit Ed Dine to explore its 19th-century palace. Return to Beirut and visit the National Museum.

Day 6: Harissa - Jeita

Visit Harissa and the Church of Our Lady of Lebanon, using a cable car for views of Junieh Bay. Continue to the Jeita Grotto, then return to Beirut for dinner.

Day 7: Beirut

Free day to explore Beirut, shop, or engage in activities of interest.

Day 8: Beirut

After breakfast, transfer to Beirut Airport.
