On this excursion to Tripoli from Beirut, we'll visit the citadel of Saint-Gilles, relax in a traditional hammam, and have a delicious fish dish in a restaurant with views of the sea.
Tripoli Tour
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Beirut and drive north along the Mediterranean.
After a 2-hour drive, we'll arrive in Tripoli, one of the oldest cities in Lebanon. Upon arrival, we'll take a guided tour of the citadel of Raymond de Saint-Gilles, an important defensive complex taken by the Ottomans in the 19th century, which significantly influenced the fort's future.
Next, we'll tour the souks of Tripoli to discover popular products in Lebanon. Following this, we'll stop at the Al-Abd baths, which is home to one of the oldest hammams in Lebanon.
In this thermal center, you'll have the opportunity to relax for about an hour to invigorate your body and mind. Afterwards, we'll head to the port of Tripoli, where we will enjoy a traditional Lebanese fish dish at a restaurant overlooking the sea.
Following lunch, we'll proceed to the nearby town of Batroun for a brief stop to admire its ancient Phoenician walls and learn about its history.
Finally, we'll return to the Lebanese capital, with arrival at your hotel in Beirut scheduled for 7 hours after pickup.
