Walk through a wine-growing region in south-western France on our Bélesta vineyards hiking activity. You'll discover the origin of one of the Occitanie region's most prestigious French wines.

Bélesta Vineyards Hiking Activity

At 9 am, we'll meet you at the Domaine Riberach winery and set off on our hiking route in Bélesta.

During our hike, we'll stroll through local vineyards and learn about the grape varieties grown on the vines. You will see how the slopes in the Ariège department in the Occitanie region host centuries-old vines, the fruit of many winegrowers' efforts.

As we walk, we will explore the history of the vineyards and discuss the different stages of wine production. Each stage uses specific techniques passed down for decades, enabling winegrowers to achieve a unique, high-quality product.

We will conclude our tour by returning to the Domaine Riberach, where we'll visit the winery and taste some different wines. During our tasting, we will learn to differentiate between the various aromas and tones of the wines.

Our wine tasting experience will conclude between 11:30 am and 12 noon.
