Description
Welcome to the capital of Serbia! Meet us at Republic Square at the designated time to join our free tour of Belgrade. We'll start by exploring this square, viewing the façades of the Theatre and National Museum of Serbia, and learning about the Prince Mihailo Monument.
Next, we will visit the bohemian quarter of Skadarlija, known for its taverns that offer a taste of national gastronomy. We will then head to the Museum of the Serbian Language, the oldest residential house in the city.
Nearby, we will see the Bajrakli Mosque, the only mosque in the capital, where we will learn about Turkish rule in Belgrade. Following this, we'll take a walk to Kalemegdan Park to view the Pobednik Column.
We will then move on to the Belgrade Fortress, located at the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers, and discover its historical significance. Finally, we'll visit St. Michael's Cathedral and stroll along Knez Mihailo Street, concluding with a 2 to 3-hour tour at Students' Park.
