Day Trip Details
At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Belgrade to begin this day trip to Novi Sad. After approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, we'll reach our destination for a guided tour of the city's iconic sites.
First, we'll visit the Petrovaradin Fortress, a significant bastion in Habsburg history, offering views of the Danube River. Then, we will stroll through Danube Park until we arrive at the lake, followed by the Bishop's Palace, a Serbian-Byzantine-style monument influenced by medieval monasteries.
As we continue our tour, we will pass by Saint George's Cathedral and the Monument of Svetozar Mileti?, created by Ivan Meštrovi?. Next, we will visit the Name of Mary Church, a Neo-Gothic Catholic church that replaced a previously damaged structure.
We will also see the City Hall, the National Serbian Theatre, and the Novi Sad Synagogue. There will be approximately an hour of free time to enjoy local cuisine before the tour concludes.
Finally, we will return to the starting point about 6 to 7 hours after the activity begins.
