Day Trip Details
At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Belgrade to begin this day trip to Novi Sad. After approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, we will arrive at our destination for a guided tour of the city's iconic sites.
First, we'll ascend the Petrovaradin Fortress, an important bastion in the history of the House of Habsburg dynasty. It offers elevated views of the Danube River.
Next, we'll stroll through Danube Park to its central lake, then proceed to the Bishop's Palace, a notable Serbian-Byzantine-style building influenced by medieval monasteries.
Our tour continues with a visit to Saint George's Cathedral, the main Orthodox church, followed by the Monument of Svetozar Mileti?, a work by Ivan Meštrovi?.
We will also visit the Name of Mary Church, a Catholic parish church with Neo-Gothic design, and pass by the City Hall, the National Serbian Theatre, and the Novi Sad Synagogue, established in the early 20th century.
You will have approximately an hour of free time for lunch to try local cuisine before the tour concludes. We will return to the starting point about 6 to 7 hours after the tour begins.
