Day Trip Details

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Belgrade before setting off for the impressive Danube Valley.

After a 2-hour drive along the Danube, we'll arrive at the Golubac Fortress, a medieval stronghold built on cliffs. From a distance, we'll see its towers offering aerial views of the Iron Gates of the Danube and the surrounding area.

Next, we'll stop at the eco-ethnological complex Kapetan Mišin Breg, which provides a view of the Djerdap Gorge, the border between eastern Serbia and Romania.

Then, enjoy some free time for lunch at local restaurants. Following lunch, we'll embark on a 1-hour boat ride through the Iron Gates Gorge, a notable area of the Danube in Serbia.

After the boat ride, we'll view the Tabula Traiana, a Roman plaque commemorating Emperor Trajan's engineering efforts.

Finally, we will return to your hotel, arriving approximately 12 hours after departure.
