Manasija Monastery, Resava Cave & Lisine Waterfalls

Description

The tour begins with a pickup at your hotel at the designated time, followed by a scenic drive through rolling green hills to the Resava Gorge, where the Manasija Monastery is located. Upon arrival, visitors will observe the impressive towers of this 15th-century monastery. The tour includes insights into its history, architecture, and the treasures hidden within its walls, featuring preserved mosaics and frescoes from the medieval period.

Next, we will visit the Resava Cave, an extensive underground network of karst caves covering over 11 hectares. Participants will explore natural rock galleries and various stalactites and stalagmites.

Following the cave, the tour proceeds to the Lisine Waterfalls, a striking natural feature exceeding 25 meters in height. Guests will have two hours of free time to explore the area and sample local cuisine amidst food stalls.

At the conclusion of the day, the group will return to Belgrade, with drop-off at your hotel around 4:30 pm.
