Description

After picking you up at your hotel at the designated time, the tour begins with a scenic drive through rolling green hills. As we approach our first stop, we will appreciate the grandeur of the Resava Gorge where the medieval Manasija monastery complex is located.

Upon arrival, we will be struck by the impressive towers of the monastery built in the 15th century. During the tour, we will learn about the treasures hidden behind the walls, as well as the history of its construction and reconstruction. Despite numerous destructions and reconstructions, visitors can see the preserved floor mosaics, wall frescoes, and original architectural features, highlighting Serbian medieval architecture.

After visiting the monastery, we will proceed to Resava Cave, a vast underground system of karst caves spanning over 11 hectares. During the cave tour, we will explore several natural galleries and a variety of stalactites and stalagmites.

Following the cave, we will visit the Lisine Waterfalls, which are over 25 meters tall. You will have two hours of free time at this scenic location, where food stalls offer local cuisine for lunch.

At the end of the day, we will return to Belgrade, with hotel drop-off around 4:30 pm.
