At the indicated time, we'll meet at the meeting point of your choice and leave Benalmadena toward Granada. During the drive through the mountainous Malaga countryside, we'll make a stop halfway for breakfast.

Once in Granada, you will have 2 free hours to explore the city, including the Cathedral, Arab neighborhoods like the Albaicin, and the Paseo de los Tristes for panoramic views of the Alhambra.

After gathering again, we will head to the Alhambra, one of the most visited monuments in Spain. We will spend 3 hours touring this iconic palace complex, visiting sections such as the Palace of Carlos V, the Alcazaba, the Generalife, and its gardens.

During the tour, we will learn about the history of the Muslim caliphs and emirs until the Reconquista in 1492 and how the Alhambra still preserves the authentic Al-Andalus essence, recognized as a World Heritage Site.

Finally, we will return to the vehicle and head back to Benalmádena, arriving after 10 hours of excursion.

Alhambra with Nasrid Palaces

For a complete visit to the Alhambra, you can opt to tour the Nasrid Palaces. This option allows you to see other emblematic areas such as the Courtyard of the Lions and the Palace of Comares, but the Alcazaba will not be included in this option.
