Castellón de la Plana Day Trip

At 9:25 am we'll meet outside the Benicassim Tourist Office to start our tour. We'll board the minibus and in 15 minutes reach our destination: Castellón de la Plana.

Upon arrival at the Grao de Castellón, we will see the fishing port and learn about the seafaring traditions of Castellón de la Plana, discussing its evolution over the years while strolling around the marina.

Next, we'll visit the Museum of Fine Arts, recognized for its architectural style. The exhibition will showcase various sculptures, Valencian ceramics, and paintings from Zurbarán's workshop.

Afterwards, we'll tour the historic centre of Castellón de la Plana, visiting the Mercado de los Lunes (market), the co-cathedral of Santa María la Mayor, the bell tower El Fadrí, the theatre, the Central Market, and more.

We'll conclude our tour by returning to Benicassim at 1:30 pm.
