Castellón de la Plana Day Trip

At 9:25 am we'll meet outside the Benicassim Tourist Office to begin the tour. We'll board the minibus and in 15 minutes arrive at Castellón de la Plana.

We'll visit the Grao de Castellón to see the fishing port and learn about the seafaring traditions of Castellón de la Plana while discussing the evolution of the area.

Next, we'll go to the Museum of Fine Arts, known for its unique architectural style. In the exhibition rooms, we will see a variety of sculptures, Valencian ceramics, and paintings from Zurbarán's workshop.

After the museum, we will tour the historic centre of Castellón de la Plana. Our visit will include the Mercado de los Lunes (market), the co-cathedral of Santa María la Mayor, the bell tower El Fadrí, the theatre, the Central Market, and more.

We'll conclude the tour by returning to Benicassim at 1:30 pm.
