Villafamés Day Trip from Benicassim
Join the Villafamés Day Trip from Benicassim to explore a village in Castellón. Departure is from the Benicassim Tourist Office at the scheduled time, with a 30-minute minibus journey to Villafamés.
Upon arrival, we will begin a walking tour of the old town led by a guide who will share insights about the village, designated as an Asset of Cultural Interest. Highlights of the tour include the façade of the Assumption Church, a discussion of the village's history, and a visit to the castle to view its significant walls, along with an explanation of the historical importance of its location.
The tour will continue to Grossa Rock, a natural monument that symbolizes Villafamés, where we will uncover some of its mysteries.
The final stop will be at the Batlle Palace, a 15th-century structure that is now home to the Villafamés Museum of Contemporary Art. Visitors will explore various exhibition rooms showcasing 20th-century artistic trends.
The trip concludes with a return to Benicassim, approximately 4 hours and 15 minutes after departure.
