Bento Gonçalves Guided Tour
At 9 am we'll meet at Rua Duque de Caxias to start the guided tour. A large part of its history is linked to Italian immigration. Let's get to know its tourist attractions!
We will first see the Pipa Pórtico, the gateway to the city, shaped like a barrel due to Bento Gonçalves being called the wine capital of Brazil.
Next, we'll visit the Immigrant Museum, where we will learn about the history of Italian immigrants through various exhibits depicting their lives from the 19th century, including a life-size bronze monument in their honour.
Our next stop will be the Malhas G'Dom textile factory, significant for the local trade. You'll have time for shopping in their store before we proceed to Via do Vinho, where we will see the oldest buildings of Bento Gonçalves and its famous Wine Fountain.
We will conclude the guided tour at 1 pm at the starting point.
