On this tour we'll visit a wine estate in Bento Gonçalves to learn about the grape harvest and taste local products.

Half Day Visit to a Wine Estate

We'll meet at 12 pm noon at the Bento Gonçalves train station to begin our experience focusing on the customs of Italian immigrants in Brazil during the 19th century.

Next, we'll visit a family-run wine estate to participate in grape harvesting. You'll learn about the ancient method of treading the grapes, a traditional process used by the settlers to extract juice.

We will then enjoy a merendim, tasting various regional products such as cheeses, sausages and juices, complemented by a rural band that will provide music.

Additionally, there will be a tasting of wines and champagnes from the wine cooperative. A toast will conclude the tasting.

Finally, we will return to the starting point in Bento Gonçalves, where the tour will conclude at 5 pm.
