On this tour we'll visit a wine estate in Bento Gonçalves to learn about the grape harvest and taste local products.

Half Day Visit to a Wine Estate

We'll meet at 12 pm at the Bento Gonçalves train station to start this experience focused on the customs of the Italian immigrants who arrived in Brazil in the 19th century.

Then, we'll visit a family-run wine estate to experience grape harvesting. You'll learn about the ancient method of treading the grapes, a tradition brought by Italian settlers for juice extraction.

Following this, we will taste a merendim, featuring typical regional products such as cheeses, sausages, and juices, enhanced by a rural band’s music.

Additionally, there will be tastings of wines and champagnes from the wine cooperative.

Finally, we will return to the starting point in Bento Gonçalves, with the tour concluding at 5 pm.
