On this tour we'll visit a wine estate in Bento Gonçalves to learn about grape harvesting and taste local products.

Half Day Visit to a Wine Estate

We'll meet at 12 pm noon at the Bento Gonçalves train station, departing to explore the customs of Italian immigrants in the 19th century.

Next, we'll head to a family-run wine estate to experience grape harvesting. You'll learn about the ancient method of treading the grapes, a tradition brought by Italian settlers for juice extraction.

Following this, we will enjoy a merendim, tasting typical regional products such as cheeses, sausages, and juices, accompanied by a rural band providing music.

Additionally, there will be a tasting of wines and champagnes from the wine cooperative. A toast will be made to conclude this portion of the experience.

Finally, we will return to the starting point in Bento Gonçalves, where the tour will end at 5 pm.
