On this tour we'll visit a wine estate in Bento Gonçalves to learn about the grape harvest and taste local products.

Half Day Visit to a Wine Estate

We'll meet at 12 pm noon at the Bento Gonçalves train station and depart for an experience focused on the customs of Italian immigrants in Brazil during the 19th century.

Next, we'll visit a family-run wine estate, where we will participate in grape harvesting. You will learn about the traditional method of treading the grapes, a practice brought by Italian settlers that was typical for juice extraction.

Afterward, we will enjoy a merendim, tasting a selection of regional products including cheeses, sausages, and juices, accompanied by a rural band for entertainment.

The experience will include tastings of wines and champagnes from the wine cooperative. We will cap off the tour with a toast.

Finally, we will return to the starting point in Bento Gonçalves, concluding the tour at 5 pm.
