We will convene at Rruga Mihal Komnena at the designated time to begin our culinary adventure with a welcoming Albanian family. After some introductions, we will proceed to a traditional home in Berat, ready to engage in this memorable experience.
Once we arrive, the friendly family will guide us into their kitchen, where we will have the opportunity to make regional specialties. Expect to work on iconic dishes, such as tave kosi, a savory lamb casserole infused with yogurt, and fërgesë, a robust dish featuring peppers, tomatoes, and cheese that is emblematic of Albanian cuisine. An exciting culinary journey awaits!
As we prepare these traditional Albanian meals, we will enjoy a glass of wine and raki, both of which perfectly complement our cooking endeavors. The most satisfying moment, however, will be when we wrap up our class.
