Gorica Hill Hiking Tour

At the appointed time, we'll meet in front of the Mangalemi Hotel in Berat to start the Gorica hill hiking route. We will explore the inland region of Albania and climb Gorica hill.

We will leave the historic center of Berat and enter the fields surrounding the so-called city of a thousand windows.

As we climb, we will enjoy panoramic views of Berat. From the hill, you'll be able to view the Mangalem neighborhood on the opposite bank of the river.

This region is known for its stone houses. From this location, we will see architecture with typical rectangular windows. We will continue walking through fields of flowers and vines to the highest part of Gorica hill until reaching the top.

We will take a photo break before descending down the opposite side of the hill. From this part, we will have a view of the surrounding valleys, where oil and wine are produced. We will also pass the Gorica Bridge, one of the symbols of Berat.

We will conclude the route, arriving back at the meeting point after about six hours.
